The origins of Lion Dance dates back many generations in Chinese folk law.

 

The objective of the Lion Dance being to drive away evil spirits and demons resulting in the bringing of good luck and good fortune.

 

The practise of Lion Dance as it is today is not only confined to the Far East, it can now be seen taking place worldwide. This is a colourful event-taking place during much celebration.

 

Kudos Academy has an excellent Lion Dance and Kung Fu display team, which has travelled the uk on many occasions. We have performed at restaurants, parties, weddings, carnivals, summer fetes ect.

 

Over the years we have also raised money for various charitable organisations Demonstrating the skill and discipline of Kung Fu and traditional Lion Dance a real crowd pleaser.
